Cranmere Primary and Nursery School

School Vision & Values

Our school vision:

Cranmere is a community where all children feel respected, cared for and encouraged to develop to their full potential. We strive to create an environment which fosters self-belief and curiosity in our learners. Our school empowers all students to develop a love for learning, achieve their personal best and build their emotional, social and physical wellbeing.

Our school values:

Values

Our whole school community (pupils, staff, parents and governors) have all had a chance to consider the vision of our school and the values that we believe represent our ethos.  The six words we have listed above were chosen by consensus to represent our values. We will have these running through everything we do as a school and they will form the basis for discussions with the children and with each other. They enable us to talk about how we learn; foster excellent behaviour and give our children lifelong skills. These skills are celebrated weekly in our celebration assembly and children reflect daily on how these attributes help them learn.

The British values are: Democracy, The Rule of Law, Individual liberty, Mutual respect and Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs. They are embedded throughout our PSHCE Lifeskills curriculum and are visited regularly within assemblies.
