Term Dates

Cranmere Primary School is a maintained school and therefore our term dates (excluding Inset days) are set by the Local Authority. 

Inset days, which are set by school, are listed on this page and on our school calendar. Nursery start and finish dates are also likely to be slightly different to the main school term dates, please see below for more information

Autumn Term 2023

Inset Day – Friday 1^st September (staff only)

Inset Day – Monday 4^th September (staff only)

First Day of Term – Tuesday 5^th September

Half Term – 23^rd October to 27^th October

Last Day of Term – Friday 15^th December – pupils finish at 1:30pm

Nursery closed – Friday 15^th December

* Please note Nursery dates for the Autumn Term are as follows.  Puffins start on Tuesday 5^th September at 9am and finish on Wednesday 13^th December at 11:45am.  Owls will start on Wednesday 6^th September at 12:15pm and they will finish on Thursday 14^th December at 3:00pm.

Spring Term 2024

Inset Day – Tuesday 2^nd January (staff only)

First Day of Term – Wednesday 3^rd January

Half Term – 12^th-16^th February

Last Day of Term – Thursday 28^th March – pupils finish at 1:30pm

Nursery closed - Wednesday 27^th and Thursday 28^th March

Bank Holiday – Friday 29^th March

* Please note Nursery dates for the Spring Term are as follows.  Puffins start on Wednesday 3^rd January at 8:45am and finish on Tuesday 26^th March at 3:00pm.  Owls will start on Wednesday 3^rd January at 12:15pm and they will finish on Friday 22^nd March at 3:00pm.

Summer Term 2024

Inset Day – Monday 15^th April (staff only)

First Day of Term – Tuesday 16^th April

Bank Holiday – Monday 6^th May

Inset Day – Friday 24^th May (staff only)

Half Term – 27^th May – 31^st May

Last Day of Term – Tuesday 23^rd July – main school pupils finish at 1:30pm
